About Jim McFarlane

Born in Vermont, but growing up in Maine, Jim has lived in Cape Elizabeth for most of his life. He married his high school sweetheart, Jayne Hanley, and they chose to raise their three children (Taylor, Alex, and Reese) in Cape Elizabeth. When time allows, Jim enjoys getting out on the golf course, playing pickleball, watching his children compete in various sports, or spending time on the ocean. He is also a very active member of his community and takes pride in being from New England.

 

With nearly 40 years of real estate experience, Jim McFarlane has become a “go-to” agent specializing in oceanfront and residential real estate in the Cape Elizabeth, South Portland, Portland, Falmouth, Cumberland, and Scarborough areas. He has developed a reputation for tenaciously protecting his client’s interests which in turn has created extremely loyal clientele. Jim joined forces with his business partner, Nancy Field, nearly 30 years ago and they have consistently earned recognition as a top-producing team within the state over the years. It is safe to say they have made a household name for themselves in the communities that they serve.
