343 Woodford Street

Welcome to 343 Woodford Street, a sunny and spacious character filled home in the heart of Deering Center. Built in 1890, this center entrance colonial retains numerous period details including coffered and coved ceilings, wainscotting, a leaded glass built-in cabinet, pocket doors, birch floors, and one of the loveliest staircases I have seen. The first floor has a wonderful combination of spaces for gathering with family and friends or curling up in a quiet corner with a good book. On the second floor there is a spacious primary suite with a full bathroom and walk-in closet as well as two additional bedrooms and a guest bathroom. The finished third floor has vaulted ceilings and lots of storage making it a great space for for a den, office or art studio. Outside the large deck overlooks the private fenced yard filled with perennials and flowering trees and shrubs. Located in close proximity to restaurants, shops, the Portland trail system, Burbank Library and so much more. A truly special place to call home!
